I am currently considering River for crowdsourced events due to few features (more on that later)

• Collect photos from guests and prompt them to share on social
• Import and export event registration data via CSV
• Host sourcing (apply to host) & pre-approved hosts
• Let people submit events to your community calendar

We finally created a check-in app for alumni events that have most of the features from Rivers. See event page here or reach out on Slack (@ndcharles) if you need access.
